Testing method of fuel pump performance

Some hard faults (such as unable to work, etc.) that occur in car fuel pumps are easier to judge, but some intermittent soft faults appear are difficult to judge. In this regard, the method of using a car digital multimeter to detect the working current of the fuel pump can be used to determine its performance. The specific method is as follows.
(1) Place the car digital multimeter in the current gear, adjust the function key (Select) to DC (DC) gear, and then connect the two tablets to the connected line of the detected fuel pump.
(2) Start the engine. When working at the fuel pump, press the dynamic record key (MAX/min) of the car's digital multimeter (MAX/min), you can automatically record the maximum and minimum value of the current of the fuel pump when working. Compare the detected data with the normal value, and the cause of the fault can be judged.
