gas exploitation in British at least could develop 20 years

Recently, according to the data released by the Oil & Gas Au-thority, the remaining recoverable reserves of oil and gas on the British continental shelf in the past 2017 are 5.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent, 400 million barrels of oil and gas equivalent are added, and the replacement rate of reserves is 69%. According to the current rate of oil and gas exploitation, it can be developed for at least 20 years. These objectives will provide many attractive exploration opportunities and contribute to the sustainable exploitation of resource potential.

At present, because many oil and gas fields have entered the middle and late stages of development, the low reserve replacement rate is still a special concern of the UK Oil and Gas Bureau. Of the continental shelf resources in Britain, 70% are oil and 30% are natural gas. The sustained development of oil and gas requires the continuous production of new oilfields and the sustained support of Engineering projects.
