Significant Progress In Research On Key Technologies For Continental Shale Oil Exploration

PetroChina relies on the national oil and gas special project, the 973 plan and the company's major science and technology projects to solve the theoretical flaws and technical bottlenecks faced by shale oil exploration and development, and promote the effective use of shale oil scale.

Significant progress has been made: a comprehensive evaluation technique for terrestrial shale oil desserts has been initially formed. The shale oil logging evaluation method based on the “seven-sex relationship” was innovated, and the multi-parameter division and comparison of the six-level sequence in the fine-grained area was established, and the shale strata fine-grained rock identification and organic-rich layer prediction were carried out. The shale oil test oil selection layer and reservoir reconstruction provide important technical support; break through the connotation of conventional reservoir prediction technology, and use geological parameters such as lithology, TOC, S1, Ro, and engineering parameters such as rock brittleness, horizontal stress and fracture development. The dessert prediction supporting technology featuring engineering geological parameters and hydrocarbon source rock quality prediction is formed, which provides theoretical technical support for exploration deployment and horizontal well optimization design.
