The working principle of automobile high pressure oil pump is:

1. Oil suction stroke: rely on the downward movement of the pump piston to provide the power for oil suction, open the oil inlet valve, and the fuel is sucked into the pump cavity;

2. Oil return stroke: In order to control the actual oil supply, the oil inlet valve is still open at the initial stage of the upward movement of the pump piston, and the excess fuel is squeezed back to the low pressure side by the pump piston;

3. Pump oil stroke: The initial fuel pressure regulating valve is powered off, so that the pressure of the oil inlet valve in the pump chamber and the closing spring in the valve work together.

The function of the high pressure oil pump of the automobile is:

1. Increase the fuel pressure and inject high pressure to achieve atomization effect;

2. Responsible for providing enough high-pressure fuel to the common rail.
