How to install and use pneumatic diaphragm pump?

1. Installation

There are many ways to install the pneumatic diaphragm pump, mainly for safety and protection, and convenient maintenance; but the air triplet and soft connection are necessary accessories for the pneumatic diaphragm pump. The role of the air triplet is mainly to filter the impurities of the air source to prevent impurities from entering the pump and damaging the air motor of the pump body; in addition, it can protect the pump from damage caused by high pressure or unstable air pressure. Diaphragm pumps have a large recoil force when working, and the pump body and pipes have a certain jitter. Therefore, increasing the shock absorption soft connection can effectively reduce this recoil force, thereby extending the overall life of the diaphragm pump and pipes.

2. Start

Note: Please check the packing list before using the pneumatic diaphragm pump; in addition, tighten all the bolts of the pump body and tighten it every week.

2.1 Connect the pump to the accessories according to the installation method in the third (1) of this instruction, and lay the pump flat and tighten the foot. Special reminder: For diaphragm pumps with non-metallic thread connection such as plastic series, please do not tighten the pipes forcibly to avoid rupture of the plastic pipes of the water pump. (It is recommended to add a hoop to the inlet and outlet pipes of the pump before connecting the pipes)

2.2 Open the inlet and outlet pipeline valves and ensure that the inlet pipeline is immersed in the medium.

2.3 After setting the minimum air supply pressure on the pressure regulating switch of the air triple unit, add lubricating oil to the oil mist cup (generally, the right side cup of the air triple unit is the oil mist cup) and connect to the air source.

2.4 Slowly increase the pressure regulating switch until the water pump reaches the actual required flow and head, and then lock the pressure regulating switch.

2.5 Observe the pump for about 5 minutes, and continue to use it if there is no abnormality.

3. Close

3.1 Before stopping the pump, please turn the pressure regulating valve at the triplex to lower the air pressure.

3.2 After separating the inlet pipe of the pump from the medium, allow the pump to continue to work for 2-3 minutes to drain the liquid in the pump body.

3.3 Close the outlet valve to prevent the medium from returning; and close the gas source.

3.4 Immerse the water inlet pipe in clean water or washing liquid, switch the outlet three-way, and turn on the air source for low-pressure cleaning for 3-5 minutes.

3.5 Drain the clean water in the pump, close the inlet and outlet valves and the air source switch.
